My Mum’s backyard pool – it’s truly an awesome pool. Warm water in the summer, really really deep in the end closest to me in this shot (like 8ft deep!) and just perfect for chillin’ by on a hot afternoon.

Here’s Ray, lining up for the winning shot in a drunken game at Spinners, Waikiki, HI. He makes this shot, using a lot of English, shooting just in front of the dot, and then bringing it backwards to make the 8 without following it in. This is the first frame of the video I happened to take of him shooting.

The Standard Pool Table

This is the pool table at The Standard, Downtown LA. It’s pretty cool-looking, nice and big, but it has a couple of large drink stains on it, and the rails are busted up so balls jump off them. Oh, and it’s right next to a massive glass window – so be careful with that (sorry Mr Security).
