Pro Tip: casting a value with (int) in PHP causes it to be cast as a SIGNED int, meaning the highest it can be is 2147483647. Duh.

Just came across an interesting one. If storing huge ints in #WordPress postmeta, you might need CAST( meta_value AS UNSIGNED ) to ORDER BY.
