The technology of less technology — Medium

Technology is defined as the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry.

Sometimes applying scientific knowledge means using less of what we traditionally think of as technology. There’s an awesome example explained in the film below.

“Many have thought, returning large amounts of carbon to soil would take centuries. These folks only needed decades — and maybe less.”

It would be amazing if this knowledge (which has been around for decades) were known by the rest of the ranching world.

More related good stuff over at Carbonnation and Marin Carbon Project.
