So, there used to a time (not sure it’s still the case) where, in France, postage (stamps) was considered legal tender. So, basically you could pay people with stamps. Maybe that’s still a thing?
The US has “Forever” stamps, which apparently hold their value forever, so that’s kind of the same thing. Maybe she was preparing for the Ebolapocalypse?
